FSA Short Selling Rule

The FSA's ban on short selling in UK financial services companies expired on Friday 16 January 2009. The ban's removal means that you may take a long or short position on UK quoted financials stocks. 

Please note that a block on short selling remains in place in numerous other jurisdictions. For a list of Jurisdictions and Stocks that continue to have restrictions:
